RECRUITMENT
Assistant or Associate Research Professor

The Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) calls for applications for a position at
the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology,
Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal (UdeM).


IRIC seeks applications to develop a high-level research program in cancer biology that may include, but is not limited to, the following areas of interest: cancer cell biology of cancer, solid tumors and metastasis, tumor microenvironment, metabolic reprogramming, genomics and epigenetics, human tumor modeling.


Experimental paradigms could include, but are not limited to: model organisms, computational
modeling based on machine learning/AI, single-cell and single-molecule analysis, functional
genomics and proteomics, metabolomics, systems biology, structural and chemical biology.


The successful candidate will be integrated into IRIC's dynamic and collegial environment, with
state-of-the-art infrastructures and 27 research teams, to contribute to the advancement
knowledge of cancer and the development of therapies.


The expected start date is September 1st, 2025.


TO APPLY
Hold a PhD in a related field and demonstrate substantial experience and productivity in a relevant
field;

- A teaching statement (1 page)
- Research interests (2 pages)
- At least 3 reference letters sent directly to the head of the Department
