This position is located within the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area (PA), at the Dietary Prevention of Obesity-Related Disease Research Unit in Grand Forks, ND.

Conduct independent as well as team-based research and will be expected to develop productive collaborations with other scientists from universities, industry, and government.

• Provide vision, exercise leadership, and maintain line authority over scientists and support personnel assigned to the Unit.
• Foster scientific productivity, quality and impact of the Unit, and the professional development of its member scientists.
• Plan, implement, and report the results of research designed to elucidate the roles of individual whole foods or diets in preventing nutrition-related chronic diseases.
