Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) is located in the historic and cultural city of Hangzhou, formerly known as Hangzhou Aviation Industry Finance School, which was founded in 1956. HDU was one of the earliest information technology-oriented universities in China, and is known as the "cradle of IT entrepreneurs" and the "fertile ground for outstanding accountants". HDU was listed as one of the first batch of "Key Construction Universities in Zhejiang Province" in 2015. HDU was awarded the " Advanced Organization of Zhejiang Province for Valuing Talents and Caring for Talents", and is one of the first batch of overseas high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship bases in Zhejiang Province. HDU currently has 11 doctoral programs and 20 master's programs, 6 postdoctoral research stations, and 48 bachelor’s programs. Among the bachelor’s programs, 22 have been listed in the national first-class bachelor’s programs, and 22 have been listed in the provincial first-class bachelor’s programs. According to the Essential Science Indicators (ESI), five disciplines at HDU—engineering, computer science, materials science, chemistry, environmental science, and ecology—are ranked among the top 1% globally. HDU has a high-level teaching and research team led by nationally and provincially recognized experts and renowned scholars with outstanding contributions in their fields. The team also includes young and middle-aged professors, and doctors as its backbone.

HDU currently has more than 28,000 full-time students, over 2,700 faculty members, including more than 2,000 full-time teachers, more than 400 senior professors, and 80% of the teachers have doctoral degrees. RECRUITMENT DISCIPLINES

Hangzhou Dianzi University is a research and teaching-oriented university with a prominent feature in electronic information, noticeable strengths in economics and management, and interpenetration of engineering, science, economics, management, arts, law and other disciplines. It has 11 doctoral programs, they are electronic science and technology, integrated circuit science and engineering, information and communication engineering, control science and engineering, computer science and technology, cyberspace security, mechanical engineering, mathematics, and management science and engineering.

RECRUITMENT POSITIONS

The recruitment positions include Lixing Chair-professor, Lixing Distinguished-professor, Lixing Professor Fellow, Research Fellow and Associate Research Fellow, etc. HDU provides generous salaries and welfare for high-level talents, including research start-up funds, housing or housing subsidies, assistance with children's education, and resettlement of family members. The compensation for Lixing Chair-professor is negotiable. Team introduction or special talent treatment can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
