Categories of Positions

01 Qiushi Chair Professor

Requirements

Applicants should be scholars with outstanding achievements and extensive academic recognition by international peers, such as laureates of the Nobel Prize, winners of the Turing Award, Fields Medal or other international awards, academicians of the Academy of Sciences or the Academy of Engineering of developed countries, and other international top scholars.

Remuneration and Benefits

1.Remuneration

Successful applicants will be provided with competitive remuneration, specially outstanding applicants will be discussed individually.

2.Housing

Assistance will be given to find suitable housing, including the provision of a temporary apartment and the option to purchase welfare apartments.

3.Start-up Fund

Negotiable according to actual demands.

4.Office and Laboratory Space

Competitive office and laboratory space will be provided.

5.Team Building

02 Qiushi Distinguished Scholar

Requirements

Positions include Qiushi Distinguished Professor, Qiushi Distinguished Professor for Teaching, Qiushi Distinguished Clinician, Qiushi Distinguished Engineer, Qiushi Distinguished Scholar for Think Tanks, etc. Applicants with full professorship (or an equivalent title) in a prominent university (Qiushi Distinguished Clinician requires both professor and chief physician in principle); with recognized academic achievements in his/her field of study and capability of leading the discipline to catch up or maintain the international advanced level, and with excellent organizational leadership ability.

Requirements

Applicants should be permanent faculty members of high-level universities at home and abroad.

Tenured Professors with recognized academic achievements in his/her field of study, achieve outstanding achievements in teaching, research and talent cultivation,

reaching the equivalent level of a tenured professor at a prominent university.

Tenured Associate Professor Scholars with special achievements and certain academic influence, outstanding achievements in teaching, research and talent cultivation, reaching the equivalent level of tenured associate professor at a prominent university.

1. Detailed resume: Resume of continuous study and work from the beginning of undergraduate studies to the date of application, published papers and work, major achievements in teaching and scientific research, research projects undertaken, patents and awards, etc.

02After Submission

Candidates who pass the preliminary screening will be invited to attend a video interview or to visit Hangzhou for further discussions. The preliminary screening will be completed within 4 weeks after the application email is sent, and those who do not receive a reply within 6 weeks should be considered to have failed the preliminary screening.
