The Department Chair will be expected to contribute to the development and growth of the academic and research programs within the department and college. Applicants must also be interested in the broader implications of their research as it relates to policies and practices that impact human health. This position is responsible to the Dean of the College for providing leadership and department administration; participation as a full member of the faculty, with all relevant duties, responsibilities and benefits; providing service and support to varied constituencies (college, university, outside communities, associations); and enhancing professional and personal development.
