Introduction to Zhengzhou University

Zhengzhou University (ZZU), located in Zhengzhou,Henan Province, China, is a higher education  institution with a long history, rich cultural heritage, and beautiful natural scenery. Zhengzhou University is supported by the Chinese government, as well as the largest higher education institution in Asia and the top university in the Central Plains of China. • Global Top Scholars/Talents

Applicants should have made systemic and innovative achievements with significant contributions in related fields and be influential in global academia with recognition such as recipient of prestigious international academic awards, academician of the equivalent capacity.

• Leading Academics/Scholars

Applicants should be under the age of 55 and have profound academic attainments and prospective academic vision. They should have made significant academic achievements in their field with international peer recognition and have the ability to lead discipline development to an internationally advanced level. They should have experience as Associate Professor or above at well-known universities or research institutes. The criteria can be negotiable in the case of extraordinary candidates.

• Outstanding Young Scholars

Applicants should be under the age of 40 and have obtained a Doctoral degree from high-level universities at home and abroad. They should have the academic capacity equivalent to Assistant Professor at international high-level universities and the potential to be leading academics in their field. ZZU now invites outstanding young talents in natural sciences and engineering technology fields to join and apply for the founding together. Successful applicants will receive research support funds from the NSFC, Henan Province and Zhengzhou University, to boost the scientific growth of young talents！
