The Division of Life Science (https://life-sci.hkust.edu.hk/) at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) is seeking applications for multiple tenure-track positions in basic and translational research to address our mission in understanding the mechanisms governing human health and diseases. Candidates with interests and experience in immunology and immune system disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, microbiology, or regenerative and precision medicine are particularly encouraged to apply. Outstanding investigators of senior ranks will be considered as well. We are also interested in entrepreneurial-minded candidates whose research programs envision a multidisciplinary perspective and cutting-edge experimental approaches. Applicants whose research programs are outside the above areas but will complement or enhance the existing strengths of the Division are welcome. Successful candidates are expected to establish an independent and internationally recognized research program and to contribute to the missions of the Division in undergraduate and postgraduate education.

•    A state-of-the-art Biosciences Central Research Facility (https://www.biocrf.ust.hk/) with 6 cores (Advanced Imaging, Proteomics and Metabolomics, Histology, Advanced Imaging and Flow Cytometry, and Next-Generation Sequencing, and General Equipment)

The University has a vibrant research environment, and the medium of instruction and administration is English. Candidates should hold a graduate degree (M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D.), have completed a postdoctoral fellowship, and have demonstrated the potential to lead a competitive, independently funded research program.
