YOUR ROLE
- Team and Lab Leadership: Lead a team of application engineers and facility staff to ensure high performance, collaboration, and skill development, while managing lab operations focused on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- 3DP Application Development: Work with global, cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative 3D printing solutions for industries such as medical, automotive, and consumer goods.
- Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in customer satisfaction, data quality, and operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with corporate and legal regulations.
- Regulatory and Certification Management: Navigate global regulatory requirements and manage certifications (e.g., Medical Device, UL) essential for industry and customer needs.
- Market and Scientific Innovation: Identify emerging scientific trends in 3DP and collaborate with corporate resources to provide data-driven insights for customers.
- Technical Support and Customer Training: Develop technical documents and deliver comprehensive training (webinars, academies, on-site sessions) to support customer understanding and effective application of 3DP solutions.
- Traveling of up to 20% is also requirred.
YOUR SKILLS
- Minimun a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related Field.
- Industrial and Additive Manufacturing Experience: 5+ years in an industrial setting, including 3+ years in additive manufacturing, technical customer service, or application engineering.
- Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) Expertise: Proficiency in DfAM principles, particularly with a focus on DLP technology.
- Data Science and Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in using data science techniques to collect, normalize, and analyze data for decision-making.
- Project Management and Technology Knowledge: Strong project management skills paired with a solid understanding of relevant technologies.
- Communication and Software Skills: Excellent communication skills and experience with commercial 3D modeling software.
The salary for this role is $120,000.00 - $145,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
