YOUR ROLE .

  • Manage material specification and customer requirements review process.
  • Support management of change, MOC, including process customer requirements review.
  • Support PPAP process (i.e. historical data management, PCD standardization, etc.).
  • Support the set-up and maintenance of quality master data.
  • Facilitate problem solving teams for both voice of customer, VOC, and internal Issues.
  • Support the development of product special characteristics identification and capability analysis in the production environment.
  • Communication with customers to coordinate specification and customer requirements reviews.
  • Use process and data driven analysis to assist with focused projects to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides quality assurance support as assigned for plant activities, field sales and customers.
  • Operation and maintenance of the assigned technical and quality databases, successfully achieving the objectives for the assignment.
  • Must be able to lead others as well as to delegate activities for successful completion of projects.
  • Responsible for adhering to and supporting all SHE related priorities and requirements


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering or Chemistry preferred).
  • 3 - 5+ years of Quality and Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, Project Management, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering in chemical processing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in use of SAP, with particular knowledge of the Quality Module.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills using 8D, A3 and root cause problem solving methodology.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead and coordinate efforts between various functional groups to address customer requirements and requests, and to complete projects related to the achievement of established quality improvement objectives.
  • Willing to spend time on the manufacturing floor gaining knowledge as well as developing solutions with the ops input.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work on multiple projects.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customer, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write technical and customer specific reports that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management as well as operations personnel.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.
  • Support: Support/Assist customers across the globe in different time zones based on regional assignment.


The salary for this role is $77,400.00 - $107,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
