YOUR ROLE
- Support building component and furniture business with innovative product development base on thermal plastic hotmelt and reactive polyurethane hotmelt technology.
- Lead THM product development project and technology development independently and support in PURHM product development projects.
- Identify new technology trends, reshaping R&D with digital and automation tools, strengthen Henkel’s IP through patent filling.
- Cross-functional and cross regional collaboration with application engineering, sales, marketing, operation, PSRA and supply chain to create innovative products and solutions to meet customer needs, provide technical supports to cross function teams.
- Participate in site's safety and/or 5S programs and ensure compliance to Henkel lab operating condition.

YOUR SKILLS
- Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation Focus, demonstrate passion for creative solutions and a cooperative, responsible attitude towards teamwork.
- Master's degree with minimum 3 years or PhD Degree with relevant experience in adhesive industry, with organic chemistry, polymer chemistry or materials science background.
- Proficiency in thermal plastic hotmelt technology is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for utilizing digital and automation tools to enhance the efficiency of the innovation process and a forward-thinking approach to digitalizing R&D.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
