YOUR ROLE
- Formulate new prototypes and develop innovative technologies to create new or improve existing hair care products, with particular emphasis on sustainable solutions that reduce environmental footprint while maintaining premium performance
- Support Henkel brands by delivering exclusive, unique innovations and providing expert technical insights that strengthen our competitive advantage in the market
- Stay at the forefront of industry advancement by maintaining expertise in sustainable raw materials, green formulation techniques, and advanced testing methodologies
- Execute and coordinate innovation through internal and external R&D sources, including collaboration with other R&D groups and suppliers
- Engage in research activities to develop breakthrough technologies and applications in products, focusing on both performance enhancement and environmental stewardship
YOUR SKILLS
- Background in developing, formulating hair or skin care products is required.
- Minimum of a BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field, 5+ years experience working in formulations lab and performing quality testing procedures
- Project management experience is preferred
- Must have knowledge of technical information of hair care formulations
Ability to effectively translate technical into non-technical communication - Ability to be both creative and process oriented in support of driving innovation and execution
- Self-motivated, organized and ability to prioritize workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills are necessary.
- Strong presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills are critical.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel 15 % of time.
The salary for this role is $87,000.00 - $125,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
