YOUR ROLE

  • Experienced senior manager (d/f/m) that contributes to shaping Adhesive Technologies’ strategy for sustainability by further accelerating circular materials with special focus on raw materials
  • The special focus is on developing & executing a circularity strategy for our materials and demonstrating thought leadership
  • Responsible for developing a circularity baseline centering around renewable carbon, setting circularity targets and develop roadmaps & progress reporting along our technologies in conjunction with Purchasing & our business
  • Responsible for strategic evaluation & selection of internal and external supply chain certification systems such as mass-balance certification
  • Proactively engage with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies to shape future circular value chains
  • Represent Henkel and advocate externally at association or industry initiatives, at customers, as well as in internal bodies - to improve our sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation


YOUR SKILLS

  • Master's degree in Sustainability, Business Administration or (Chemical) engineering or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in sustainability and/or commercial roles in the chemical industry or consulting,
  • ideally with a strong focus on sustainability related projects
  • Background and experience in sustainability, purchasing, marketing or sales is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of complexity of products, technologies, and value chains required
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Individual with both strategic and analytical mindset, strong project management skills, and passion about driving change and challenging the status quo
  • Fluent English language skills, good knowledge of German is an advantage
