YOUR ROLE

  • As part of our EIMEA Application Engineering Team you actively support Bonding & Gasketing projects for automotive component applications
  • Manage technical customer requests and contribute to developing innovative Bonding & Gasketing solutions for future mobility
  • Provide product recommendations, implement customized product applications and perform new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers
  • Leverage the application equipment to explore the full potential of our products, perform testing and technical assessments and share the results with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Sales / Key Account Management / Product Development / Marketing, develop expertise and drive regular knowledge sharing, e. g. with laboratory demonstrations and trainings
  • Take initiative in development, optimization and standardization of laboratory test methods and testing processes


YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally 3+ years of job experience, with technical expertise preferably in one of the following areas: adhesives / bonding / sealing or automotive components
  • Experienced and enthusiastic about working in cross-functional and international teams
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, show initiative, enjoy teamwork, yet you can also work well independently
  • Open for business travel during 20-30% of your time
  • Strong communication skills including with customers and communicate fluently in English (spoken, written), good German skills would be an advantage
