YOUR ROLE

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably managing big tailor-made applications
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product responsibility, encompassing business processes, development, operations, and its security
  • Lead team and related stakeholders to assure product stability in production while fostering development of new functionalities
  • Demonstrated ability to govern, design, develop, and operate applications with complex processes and high usage. (ideally in sales or trade promotion management areas)
  • Experience in managing large-scale end-to-end product development and operations, with a focus on resource, quality, velocity, and cost management
  • Proficiency in managing direct, indirect, local, remote, and external resources in development, operations, and release management
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to define project scope, prepare project plans, and monitor implementation against targets (e.g., budget)
  • Ability to lead work streams and cross-functional teams, ensuring deliverables meet quality, time, and budget requirements (as per Agile Methodology)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-platform teams (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, ECC ) and facilitating effective communication
  • Engagement with external consulting and implementation partners for new demands, including tools and vendor selection and vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of solution/technical architecture, technology stack, implementation strategies, roadmaps, continuous improvements, stabilization, release management, and IT landscape management


YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics
  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, SAPUI5/openUI5, HTML5, XML, JSON, OData, Cloud Foundry and SAP CPI
  • Good process knowledge in TPM and ERP sales processes
  • Profound problem-solving skills as well as object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge in ABAP on ECC, Shell scripting, container technologies (Docker, Kyma, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code,
  • Configuration Management, Message Queues, Jenkins are beneficial
  • SDLC, CI/CD, ELK Stack, Fiori, ABAP RestFul, ABAP on HANA (optional)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
