YOUR ROLE
- Job Summary: This Quality Engineer will be responsible for activities associated with ensuring and improving the overall quality levels of products manufactured at both the Seabrook (approx.. 25%) and Cleveland (approx.. 75%) Plants
- 1.- Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Seabrook (approx. 50%):
- Conduct MSA’s to fulfill requirements of IATF 16949.
- Coordinate Layered Process Audits using the EASE software, including managing the schedule, reporting on audit completion statistics, monitoring action item entry and completion, monitor for repeat incidents and identify trends..
- Coordinate GMP Audits using the EASE software, including managing the schedule, reporting on audit completion statistics, monitoring action item entry and completion, monitor for repeat incidents and identify trends..
- Develop and submit PPAP’s for Seabrook customers as requested.
- Review customer specifications and quality agreements.
- Function as Seabrook SQC Coordinator, ensuring that the business practices are followed and NCMR’s are both entered and closed to meet the KPI.
- Coordinate Seabrook SCMS related to Quality issues.
- Participate as a member of the internal audit team.
- Conduct internal audits, assign, and drive corrective action tasks to completion, and perform verification and effectiveness reviews as required
- 2.- Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Cleveland (approx. 50%):
- Develop and submit PPAP’s for customers as requested.
- Perform internal audits to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 50001 (prefer qualified Internal auditor, AIAG or equivalent)
- Review customer specifications, and perform customer surveys upon request
- Spec review/surveys for customers as requested.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production and assist Quality with covering off shifts.
- Coordinate with Quality team and perform B&P FTR
- Support customer complaints, and operations with corrective actions 8D, FRPS, and A3.
- Coordinate Cleveland SCMS related to Quality issues.
YOUR SKILLS
- Regional chemical regulations
- Chemical classification
- Chemical inventory systems
- GHS knowledge
- SDS authoring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or within a relevant Science discipline. Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with IATF 16949 and ISO standards
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing / chemical industry or within the quality profession
- Knowledge and experience with Six Sigma, 8D, and A3 tools
- Experience leading teams and working with customers
The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
