The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry (https://chemistry.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track, 12-month faculty position in the Academic Professional promotion track, with teaching responsibilities in Biochemistry. Applicants will be considered at both the Academic Professional and Senior Academic Professional ranks, depending on experience. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students. Applicants with an interest in evidence-based instructional methods and chemical education research are encouraged.
The successful applicant will teach undergraduate lecture and seminar classes in Biochemistry, and conduct administrative activities including academic advisement of undergraduate students. A maximum teaching load of two 3-credit classes in both the Fall and Spring semesters, and one 3-credit class in the summer is expected. The applicant will collaborate with other faculty on curricula development.
