We are excited to announce openings for Xianghui Scholars and Xianghui Young Scholars, attracting scientists committed to exploring uncharted territories of knowledge and addressing significant challenges in fundamental disciplines. The Xianghui Institute, established by Fudan University and the Shanghai municipal government, is a pioneering institution dedicated to fostering a robust innovation ecosystem for top-tier researchers in fundamental studies.

Positions Available: The Xianghui Institute is recruiting in the following foundational research areas: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic Medicine, and Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. We will prefer applications with proposals that focus on frontier areas impacting human society.

1. Xianghui Scholar Positions:

• We are looking for internationally recognized scholars who are able to work full-time at Fudan University. Ideal candidates should hold tenured positions at prestigious universities with exceptional achievements.
• Applicants should have made notable contributions in fields of foundational research in the last five years. We seek individuals with a global vision and farsightedness, ready to address key scientific challenges and propose viable research plans.

2. Xianghui Young Scholar Positions:

• We welcome passionate young scientists dedicated to pioneering foundational research and able to work full-time at Fudan University.
• The candidate should have recognized publications as the lead author within the last five years and exhibit strong potential for future research. We encourage proposals that offer innovative solutions to key scientific challenges.
• Preference will be given to outstanding young talents with titles including the “Sloan Research Fellowship”, “Innovators Under 35” and awards from prestigious academies or societies in the last five years.
