Summary
Yang lab in the Department of Pathology and Immunology is offering a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic Postdoc Associate to contribute to research related to cancer biology and therapy resistance. Yang lab recently pioneered the research on MAPK4 biology in human cancers. The candidate will carry out the in-depth studies to reveal the molecular mechanisms underlying MAPK4 and other molecules in regulation of human cancers. Primary activities include carrying out molecular, cellular, and biochemical assays and characterizing transgenic/knockout models and xenograft models.

Job Duties
- Works independently and collaboratively to carry out assigned research projects.
- Gains comprehensive knowledge in the related field.
- Designs the experiments.
- Collects and analyzes experimental data.
- Reports to the PI weekly.
- Prepares manuscripts and other reports under the guidance of the PI.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- The candidate needs a Ph.D. and/or MD degree and previous working experience in the related research field, especially cancer biology.
