Assistant/Associate Professor-Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is actively seeking a candidate with expertise in Lupus and autoimmunity research, to direct the basic research program at the Montefiore Einstein Institute for Lupus Care and Research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a comprehensive Lupus research program at Montefiore Einstein Institute for Lupus Care Research
- Build and manage a proactive laboratory team
- Engage with clinical faculty and researchers for collaborative efforts
Qualifications:
- An MD and/or PhD in relevant fields (immunology, rheumatology, genetics, computational biology, etc.)
- An Assistant or Associate Professor, with an R01-equivalent funding
- Solid experience in a laboratory leadership role
- A strong passion for delving deep into Lupus research, aiming to make a tangible difference
- Keen motivation and enthusiasm to take on a pivotal leadership role in shaping a dynamic and impactful Lupus institute.
