Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology and Inflammation (VI4)
The Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, and the Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation (VI4) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level (PhD, MD, MD/PhD). Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, host-virus interactions such as mechanisms of viral pathogenesis or gene regulation, tumor virology, and antiviral immunity and nucleic acid sensing mechanisms. Successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain an independent research program and participate in teaching of graduate and medical students. Candidates should have substantial post-graduate training highlighted by peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity.
