Tenured Associate/Full Professor
The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at Yale University invites applications for a position at the tenured Associate/Full Professor level with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025. The Department welcomes applications from candidates who investigate any area of molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, using any system, and who will contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community of scholars. We are interested in candidates using any experimental approach, including molecular, genetic, biochemical, computational, genomic, or proteomic, to investigate outstanding questions in biology at the organismal, cellular, or molecular level. We also encourage applications from anyone whose interests synergize with the broad interests of the MCDB faculty and who bring a creative vision and commitment to excellence. We expect the appointee to be a dynamic participant in the departmental mission of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in subject areas such as molecular, cellular or developmental biology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, systems biology or neurobiology.
Qualifications
The selected candidate must have met the requirements for a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at the time of hire, as well as a proven record of outstanding research that demonstrates originality and self-motivation. Excellent communication skills for research and teaching are necessary.
