The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) is the Nation's Federal Health Sciences University. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, USUHS, is inviting applications for the position of the assistant professor (tenure-track) or associate professor (tenure-track). We seek individuals with a demonstrated record of excellent research in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or other related disciplines. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and leading an independent and extramurally funded research program and for teaching medical and graduate students; the University provides a hard 12-month salary. USUHS is located in a highly interactive scientific environment on the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) campus in Bethesda, MD, near the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Outstanding core facilities are available to support biomedical education and research. Minimum Qualifications: The applicant must be a US citizen with a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree and post­doctoral research experience.
