Job Details
The Department of Clinical Cancer Prevention at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is recruiting a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. Instructor. We are seeking a faculty member interested in conducting research in the areas of cancer prevention, cancer genetics, or early detection of cancer. This position will conduct basic, and/or translational research to understand the molecular drivers of cancer to identify, develop, and execute effective strategies for the prevention of cancer.
The Clinical Cancer Prevention Department is a multidisciplinary department whose members conducts basic, translational, and cancer prevention clinical research, and provides clinical cancer prevention services and education. The mission of the department is to reduce cancer incidence, morbidity and mortality through multifaceted cancer prevention approaches on the local, national and international levels. Department faculty members are encouraged to develop studies testing novel cancer screening, early detection strategies, or risk assessment methods, or novel cancer preventive interventions.
Work Location: Onsite
This position has a target base salary of $ 65,000 to $ $ 80,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
