Children’s Research Institute (CRI) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the areas of tissue regeneration, regenerative medicine, and stem cell biology. Outstanding investigators at any rank will be considered. Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degrees and the ability to direct an independently-funded research program exploring any aspect of tissue regeneration, irrespective of whether it relates to pediatric or adult conditions. Faculty recruited through this mechanism will join CRI’s Tissue and Regeneration Program (TRP), directed by Dr. Hao Zhu.
UT Southwestern Medical Center has a long and distinguished history of excellence in disease-related basic science research. CRI is recruiting outstanding individuals dedicated to solving fundamental problems in biology and disease. CRI is a dynamic and highly collaborative scientific environment. Major areas of focus within CRI include stem cell biology, cancer biology, and metabolism.
