The Department of Biomolecular Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is delighted to announce an opening for an Assistant Professor position. We are seeking a colleague with a dynamic research program to build on the strengths of our biochemistry department, which include chromosome and RNA biology, gene expression, development, metabolism, and cellular signaling.
The successful candidate will benefit from engagement with the broader scientific community, including the Center for Quantitative Cell Imaging, the Cryo-EM Research Center, the Morgridge Institute for Research, the Waisman Center, the Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine, the UW Carbone Cancer Center, and the UW Hospital. Additionally, they will have access to cutting-edge technologies through our outstanding core facilities.
