The Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at Creighton University School of Medicine is undergoing a strategic effort to significantly expand its research capacity over the next five years.  We are currently seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Immunology, although other ranks will be considered for exceptional candidates. Candidates whose research interests focus on understanding innate and/or adaptive host response to microbial infection, neuroimmunology, autoimmunity, cancer immunology, or immunotherapy are especially encouraged to apply. 

Applicants must have a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree, with a track record of research excellence.  Candidates are expected to establish a vigorous independent research program that ideally would complement existing research areas and fit the collegial environment within the School of Medicine. Candidates will have ample opportunity to establish multidisciplinary collaborations with colleagues in other basic science and clinical departments in the School of Medicine, as well as faculty at Creighton’s undergraduate college and health professional schools, including nursing, pharmacy, and dentistry.
