Postdoctoral fellowship in the Woodruff Lab at University of California, San Francisco is available to pursue basic and translational studies of airway epithelial cell dysfunction in asthma. As part of a dynamic group of researchers in the Department of Medicine investigating the mechanistic bases of pathological mucus production and inflammation that occur in the human airway in asthma and in mouse models of asthma. Qualified candidates will have a PhD, MD, or MD-PhD, experience in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and murine models of disease.
