A research assistant/technician position is available now for a highly competitive candidate with excellent qualifications in the Yakoub Lab, Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

We are looking for highly self-motivated candidates with the pursuit for scientific discovery or curing major human neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease. The researcher will endeavor to solve some of the biggest problems in the field, using cutting-edge technologies and concepts, e.g. CRISPR gene editing, stem cell technology, human brain organoids, genetically engineered mouse models, gene therapy, synthetic biology, directed evolution and protein engineering, etc.

Previous research experience and skills in life sciences, neuroscience, molecular biology, cell biology, rodent animal models, gene editing, and/or relevant fields are preferred.
