YOUR ROLE

  • Ensuring high availability and performance of data services by monitoring and troubleshooting issues proactively
  • Managing data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory to orchestrate data movement and transformation
  • Implementing security measures such as encryption and access control to protect sensitive data stored in Azure services
  • Optimizing costs by right-sizing resources, implementing auto-scaling, and leveraging Azure Cost Management tools
  • Collaborating with data architects and developers to design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions on Azure
  • Integrating Azure Databricks with other Azure services like Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Database for efficient data processing and storage
  • By focusing on these responsibilities and leveraging platform services like Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Monitor, you can effectively support data operations and drive value from Azure's data platform for your organization


YOUR SKILLS

  • Excellent university degree in computer science, information systems, technical engineering or comparable disciplines
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting for data and analytics use cases, ideally in enterprise scale data warehouse or data lake deployments experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience in software development like infrastructure as code (terraform) or pyspark or python or powershell
  • Be familiar with agile development methodology Service management or project lead experience for analytical products or BI implementation projects
  • Broad experience with cloud-based data and analytical technologies and experience with hybrid cloud deployments, Azure preferred
  • Very good knowledge and consulting experience in modern data platform architecture and concepts, i.e. data mesh, modern data warehouse
  • Good moderation and negotiation skills including very good practical knowledge of agile methodology
  • Ability to drive innovation and to solve complex tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Fluent in English
