YOUR ROLE:
• As a Salesforce Service Cloud Developer, you will collaborate with internal colleagues from the Henkel digital-experience/IT-team, business and external consultants to manage, maintain, and enhance the Salesforce Service Cloud Instance post-implementation on a global scale. You will be analyzing business requirements, developing designs, supporting configuring the platform and maintaining the Service Cloud.
• You will test and deploy changes in an existing branching strategy (sandbox & production environments) through Azure DevOps, where you will secure a running Pipeline and Version Control.
• You will become the responsible contact for IT-operations providing user support by troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and resolving tickets. In addition, you will drive continuous improvements, write technical specifications or new technical user stories while supporting the full BizDevOps lifecycle of a product/IT application.
• You will be responsible for feature development: Design, develop and deliver new Salesforce features across the Salesforce Service Cloud using a mix of High-Code, Low-Code, and No-Code solutions. Configuring custom objects, fields, flows, and automation as needed.
• You will be used to propose and implement improvements to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and drive user adoption.
• As a Salesforce Service cloud developer you are used to ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of client systems as in accordance with client policies and procedures. You will code projects using existing code standards and conventions, or similar best practice documentation.
• You should be experienced in writing and maintaining unit tests and assist with the creation and maintenance of automated testing.
• It is no problem for you to utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce platform. You stay updated with Salesforce releases and implement new features or enhancements as appropriate.
• You fully support integration of our Salesforce landscape with the rest of Henkels IT-environment. Ensuring data quality and consistency across integrated systems and maintaining data integrity through data cleansing, deduplication, and validation rules.
• This role offers a great learning opportunity in becoming an inhouse consultant, gaining experience in the BizDevOps model and learning from a global team of experienced customer service inhouse consultants and business process experts. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative, transparent and non-hierarchical culture.
YOUR SKILLS:
• Educational Background: Completed university degree or a comparable qualification
• Experience:2-3 years of work experience as a Salesforce or Integration Developer, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering impactful solutions
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the Salesforce ecosystem (ideally Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Salesforce Lightning)
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps processes
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in agile environments, preferably in a SCRUM framework, delivering projects iteratively and efficiently
• Solution Development: Proven ability to build flexible, scalable, and maintainable solutions for international companies, with a focus on innovation and quality
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, preferably Salesforce certification beneficial (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer or Certified Administrator).
• Strong analytical skills; being able to understand customer needs, Language Skills: Fluent in English
