Henkel is seeking an Application engineer for ACM (Adhesives Business Unit) in Astana city.

YOUR ROLE

  • The primary objective of this role is to fulfil customer technical requests and support sales. Additionally, you will work towards establishing yourself as a respected subject matter expert and ensure that our clients receive high-level support, education, and tools.
  • Provide technical support to our sales teams, distributors, end customers.
  • Generate custom design proposals for designated accounts, including the preparation of method statements for:
    - wear-resistant coatings;
    - non-metallic pipe repair systems.
  • Preparation and delivery of training sessions on how to use adhesive technologies:
    - Hands-on training for installers, MSP (Maintenance Service Provider) partners and customers.
    - Technical training sessions for the Sales & Distribution Team.
  • 35% (High Priority) - Customer Meetings - working with the sales team for customer needs and desires.
    35% (High Priority) - Design support - on the customer projects.
    20% (High Priority) - Training our contractor / MSP (Maintenance service provider) /customers for installer qualification programs and applications
    10% (Low Priority) - Training - Involvement in Group Selling Activities.


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Preference for basic knowledge of piping system design and composite materials (3-5 years of experience).
  • Proficient in project management and documentation control.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to create simple sketches (drawings).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, including isometric and fabrication drawings.
  • Excellent teamwork and self-motivation skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent English language skills, including writing and communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel internationally without restrictions, including but not limited to Europe, India, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia.
