YOUR ROLE
- Develop and maintain quality strategy according to KPIs and global initiatives
- Drive Quality continuous improvement utilizing appropriate methods & preventive quality tools
- Assure the development of your team
- Ensure compliance with relevant certifications (ISO 9001 - 14001) and drive further enhancements as required ( e.g. ISO 45001)
- Maintain efficient Quality Control System to guarantee that products meet specifications and customer requirements
- Drive Root Cause analysis for internal external deviations (out of spec products, customer and supplier complaints) using appropriate methodologies
- Drive local Quality performance in alignment with regional Q Team and report periodically results to different stakeholders
- Implement preventive quality measures and reduce nonconforming materials in alignment with site leadership team.
- Manage new product implementation and the local change process
- Direct local quality organization and foster competence development
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, safety, quality management, or related field
- 5 years practical experience in quality management
- Experience with problem-solving techniques such as 8D, A3, FRPS etc.
- Knowledge of quality management systems: minimum ISO 9001-14001, preferred ISO 45001 and/or food packaging GMP
- Quality management systems Auditor qualification and practical experience
- Experience leading diverse teams
- Good IT-skills (SAP, MS 365, MS Teams, etc.)
- Strong work ethic with creative problem-solving skills, positive attitude and ability to drive work forward
- Reliability, Flexibility, Initiative and Team spirit are important factors
- Fluent in German as well as at least intermediate-advanced English language skills
