YOUR ROLLS:
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for packaging materials. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of supplier processes to ensure consistency and reliability,
• Investigate and address packaging-related quality issues by conducting root cause analysis. Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve packaging quality and prevent recurrence of issues,
• Implement quality control procedures for packaging processes, including inspection protocols and testing methods,
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in packaging materials, processes, and systems to enhance overall quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness,
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, purchase, packaging engineering central team, logistics, and product development,
• Maintain documentation of packaging specifications, test results, and quality control procedures. Prepare regular reports on packaging quality metrics for management review,
• Responsible for raising and analyzing supplier complaints related to packaging material and effective closure,
• Conduct testing of packaging materials as per defined specification, this includes evaluating the performance of materials under various conditions such as temperature, humidity, and transportation stresses,
• Ensure customer specific requirement being followed.
YOUR SKILLS:
• A bachelor's/master’s degree in packaging engineering/ Diploma /PG diploma from Indian Institute of packaging,
• Minimum 8 years of experience preferably in Adhesive, FMCG industries,
• Proficiency in the technical aspects of packaging materials, design, and processes, includes an understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and quality control and assurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
