The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia is seeking an outstanding candidate to provide leadership in research, instruction, and service. The position is a 9-month faculty appointment at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. The primary duties of the faculty member will include teaching in undergraduate, professional (Pharm.D.), and graduate (Ph.D.) programs, establishing a robust extramurally funded, laboratory-based research program, and providing leadership within the department to enhance excellence in both research and educational endeavors. The faculty member will be based at University of Georgia’s satellite campus in Augusta, Georgia. This program operates on the Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia Campus, which hosts colleges of medicine, nursing, and various other health care training programs. Augusta is ideally situated near the Savannah River on the border of Georgia and South Carolina, approximately 100 miles from the main University of Georgia campus. Its location provides convenient access to coastal areas and mountainous regions.
