The Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at Oregon State University is recruiting an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with expertise related to the field of toxicology, including, but not limited to, environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, mechanistic toxicology, computational toxicology, environmental health science or closely related areas. The successful applicant is expected to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program in toxicology, and direct and support graduate student research. Additionally, the candidate will develop innovative contemporary educational courses to support our expanding Toxicology M.S., Ph.D. and undergraduate minor programs.
The qualifications for the ideal candidate will include a PhD in toxicology or related field with a demonstrated track record of scholarly activity through publication in the peer-reviewed literature and a commitment to teaching and student success.
