The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated individual for an open-rank tenure-track or tenured professor position. The ideal candidate will have research experience in the areas of chemical biology, biochemical pharmacology, or pharmaceutics with the potential for translational applications. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in proteomics and/or post-translational protein modifications in the context of diseases. Candidates must have a PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent with postdoctoral training experience with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.

 

The successful applicant is expected to establish and lead an independent laboratory, which will be sustained by extramural funding. In addition to research, applicants are also expected to teach in the graduate and professional degree programs of the School of Pharmacy.
