The Museum is an outstanding resource for research, teaching and public engagement. Or their work could develop research in the 'Environment and Sustainability' theme of the University's Strategic Research Initiative which is centred on its collections ("Collections, Connections, Communities"). We welcome applications from people whose research builds and develops large genomic, phenotypic or environmental datasets, for analysis with novel techniques to address key environmental challenges.

The Professor will be based in Cambridge. Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. As Director of the Museum, the Professor will be expected to join the Department's Senior Leadership Team, A competitive salary will be offered.
