Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor- Iowa State University, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology

The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in Ames, Iowa, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.  This is a full-time, 9-month position with salary commensurate with qualifications.

The successful candidate will join a department with active research programs in pharmacology, neurobiology, infectious diseases and cell/molecular biology and establish a dynamic, extramurally funded research program within these or a complementary field pertinent to human and/or animal health.  Applications from candidates with a focus in antimicrobial resistance are particularly encouraged.  The successful candidates will also teach pharmacology or related biomedical courses to professional, graduate and undergraduate students, and mentor graduate students.
