The Cheng Laboratory of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School is inviting applications for a full-time Post-doctoral Associate position.
The laboratory has been leading NMR-based metabolomics and metabolomic imaging in medicine for more than 20 years, particularly in the development and application of high-resolution magic angle spinning NMR studies for intact tissues, biofluids, and in situ intact cells, with ongoing projects in Alzheimer’s disease, human lung and prostate cancers, and preventions of gut bacterial pathogen infections.
Candidates with PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degrees are encouraged to apply. Although a background in metabolomics, bioinformatics, biology, medicine, and/or NMR will facilitate the candidate’s progress in various projects currently underway in the laboratory, it is not required. On the other hand, creativity, innovation, and diligence will be highly valued.
Interested candidates should contact Leo L. Cheng, PhD at Lcheng@mgh.harvard.edu. Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School are Equal Opportunity Employers. By embracing diverse skills, perspectives, and ideas, we choose to lead. Applications from protected veterans and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged.
