Job Details
The candidate will engage on translational research related to hematologic malignancies. Specifically, the candidate will use various molecular biology and cellular biology techniques to study the specific function of genes relevant to hematologic malignancies. The candidate is expected to independently plan, design, and conduct research, and analyze the data and present the data in the meeting or in a published form.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
* Understand the functional genomics in leukemia.
* Learn novel molecular biology and cellular biology techniques to investigate the function of specific genes of interest.
* Lean the relationship between genetic abnormalities and disease phenotype.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates should have an MD, PhD or both credentials. Applicants must have minimum 3 years of experience in hematological research or cancer research

Work schedule of Monday - Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson follows the NIH stipend levels as outlined by the "Kirchstein - NRSA". This full-time trainee position will provide a salary between $56,484 to $68,604, dependent upon the years of postgraduate experience.
MD Anderson offers compensated trainees:
- Paid medical benefits (zero premium) starting on first day for trainees who work 30 or more hours per week
