Bolstered by a $125 million investment, Florida State University aims to significantly enhance its biomedical and translational research portfolio. In concert with this strategic investment, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. This search is open to all areas of research that intersect chemistry and health. Florida State University is expanding its health-related research capacity in partnership with regional healthcare facilities including Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare and the Mayo Clinic. We seek creative colleagues to add to a thriving Department that continues to make significant advances at the interface of chemistry and health across many subfields.

The successful candidates will be expected to develop internationally recognized and externally funded research programs in addition to teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses.
