Guilin University of Electronic Technology is located in Guilin, a world-famous scenic city and a famous historical and cultural city in China, and is a university jointly built by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence and Guangxi, a selected university in the national “Central and Western Universities Basic Capacity Building Project”, and a key construction university in Guangxi.

Subject Specialization   At present, the university has 5 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, 3 postdoctoral research mobile stations, 20 first-level disciplines authorized for master’s degrees, and 12 authorized categories for master’s professional degrees. The university has 71 undergraduate majors, including 23 national-level first-class professional construction sites, 16 engineering education certification majors (including 1 industry certification by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development), 1 national comprehensive reform pilot major, and 5 national-level characteristic majors. The discipline of “Engineering”, “Materials Science”, “Computer Science” and “Chemistry” ranked among the top 1% of ESI in the world.

Scientific Research Platform   The university has a number of national engineering research centers, key laboratories of the Ministry of Education, engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education, national software and integrated circuit public service platform Guangxi platform and many other platforms. The University Science Park was approved as a National University Science Park, and the University Science Park Co-working Space was approved as a “National Co-working Space”. The university was approved as the first batch of scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer bases of colleges and universities, and was approved as a national intellectual property pilot university in 2020.

1. Recruitment and treatment of full-time teachers

1.1 Introduction levels, conditions and treatment

1.1.1 First-level talents:

Conditions for introduction:

(1) Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering; Other famous scholars who have been evaluated and recognized by relevant experts organized by the university and have a significant influence in the academic community.

(2) Generally under the age of 55, with a doctoral degree and senior professional and technical positions, mainly engaged in research in disciplines closely related to the development of the university, and meet one of the following conditions: selected for the national major talent project; winners of the second prize or above of the State Science and Technology Award (presiding); winners of the first prize and above of the National Teaching Achievement Award (presided); National Famous Teacher; other well-known scholars who have been evaluated and recognized by relevant experts organized by the university are comparable to such talents, have achieved major achievements recognized by peers at home and abroad, have the ability to lead the discipline to maintain an international advanced level in its frontier fields, and have a significant influence in the academic community.

(3) Generally under the age of 50, with a doctoral degree, and meet one of the following conditions: selected for the National Major Talent Project Youth Project; leader of major projects of the National Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation; leader of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; winners of the second prize and above of the National Teaching Achievement Award (presided); other outstanding scholars who have been evaluated and recognized by relevant experts organized by the university are comparable to such talents, have achieved outstanding performance recognized by peers at home and abroad in this discipline, have the ability to lead the discipline to maintain the domestic advanced level in its frontier fields, and have important influence in the academic community.

Introduction treatment:

(1) First-level talent introduction treatment that meets the introduction conditions (1) and (2): negotiable.

(2) First-level talent introduction treatment that meets the introduction conditions (3): science and engineering category is not less than 3.4 million yuan, humanities and social sciences category is not less than 1.5 million yuan, and the upper limit is not capped; Annual salary of not less than 500,000 yuan (before tax) + contribution performance, not capped; Enjoy a housing purchase subsidy of 500,000 yuan (before tax); For those who do not buy a house, according to the university swing space management measures, they can provide on-campus swing space rental.

1.1.2. Second-level talents:

Conditions for introduction:

(1) Generally under the age of 40, with a doctoral degree and associate senior or above (inclusive) professional and technical positions, high academic level, good development potential, engaged in forward-looking and innovative research, has formed a relatively stable research direction, has a certain academic accumulation, has presided over national projects, and has the potential to become an academic leader in the discipline.

(2) Generally under the age of 38, with a doctoral degree, high academic level, good development potential, engaged in forward-looking and innovative research, has initially formed a stable research direction, has rich academic accumulation, has the ability to undertake national projects, and has the potential to become an academic leader in the discipline.

Introduction treatment:

(1) Science and engineering category is not less than 800,000 yuan, humanities and social sciences category is not less than 700,000 yuan, and there is no upper limit.

(2) According to the relevant measures of the university, you can enjoy on-campus swing housing rental or rent subsidy.

1.1.3. Third-level talents:

Conditions for introduction:

Generally under the age of 35, with a doctoral degree, with a certain academic level of outstanding talents.

Introduction treatment:

(1) Science and engineering category is not less than 550,000 yuan, humanities and social sciences category is not less than 500,000 yuan, and there is no upper limit.

(2) According to the relevant measures of the university, you can enjoy on-campus swing housing rental or rent subsidy.

The university properly solves the problems of relocation and placement of spouses of imported talents and the enrollment of children.

(1) Spouse: Based on the principle of job suitability, combined with their ability to perform their duties, school vacancies, etc., the spouse of high-level talents with a master’s degree or above is placed to work. Spouses who introduce talents according to the third level and above can enjoy a one-time living allowance of 100,000-200,000 yuan (before tax) if they are not suitable for work.
