YOUR ROLE
- Lead problem-solving investigations and ensure effective containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, validation, control and recurrence prevention.
- Review supplier complaint responses (8Ds - 8 Disciplines) for validity to standard requirements.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal Henkel personnel to resolve complaints and aid with the execution of APQP (Advanced Production Quality Planning) documentation using the customer's format when required.
- Assist Supplier Quality with internal documentation of supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval process) documents and data.
- Work with a cross functional team to create and modify APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) documents including, but not limited to, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), Process Flow and Control Plan.
- Assist in execution of customer PPAP (Production Part Approval process) process including, but not limited to coordination and analysis of GR&R, capability, dimensional verification, and visual aids, with the main focus on injection molded products.
- Support the coordinated integration of product launches into Manufacturing and Operations.
- Ensure Customer Specific Requirements are understood and satisfied.
- Define and communicate inspection criteria for automated inspection programs and verify program validity.
- Use process and data driven analysis to assist with focused projects to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in collection of data to identify trends and drive changes to create a preventative culture.
- Lead and support projects to improve key quality metrics, i.e.: FTQ (First Time Quality), Customer complaints, Supplier complaints.
- Support the implementation of effective, efficient, and documented Quality Systems throughout the facility compliant with IATF 16949 standards. Develop, implement and update Quality procedures and forms, including training for quality procedures for new and existing products in conformance to IATF requirements. • Monitor and drive quality metrics improvement initiatives
- Assist with training and guidance of inspectors and technicians on proper use of measuring equipment and departmental procedures.
- Design and coordinate the fabrication of special gages/fixtures; support new equipment evaluation and purchases.
- Support metrology functions and activities
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing process
- BS Degree in Engineering field required
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with quality experience, automotive industry preferred
- Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements with practical application in the automotive industry
- Experience with customer complaint reduction and PPAP documentation required
- Strong knowledge of Control Plans, PFMEA and Flow Chart development
- Domestic travel requirements < 25%
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and the ability to effectively manage time
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, Six Sigma or statistical experience preferred
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary for this role is $58,100 - $79,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
