The Director, Lead Digital Scientific Engagement will be responsible for driving strategy for digital scientific engagement. Designing and delivering innovative digital solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the engagement with all stakeholders and optimize ways of working.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Partner with key stakeholders across IM US Medical Affairs to identify pain points and opportunities that can be addressed with digital solutions
•Bring in innovative technologies, best practices and learnings from healthcare and other industries and apply it to the context of Medical Affairs
•Evaluate the digital health ecosystem and identify potential partnerships with startups, digital companies, and other key players
•Lead the design and implementation of digital solutions, leveraging internal resources and capabilities and managing external vendors. Scope of solutions to be developed includes (but it is not limited to):
-Customer data management, customer segmentation
-Customer engagement platforms and channels development
-Insight gathering and interpretation solutions
-Automation and process optimization tools
•Own the product roadmap for selected solutions, ensuring continuous feedback from execution
•Drive execution and solutions’ delivery by:
-Implementing agile methodologies, embracing continuous iterations and a “build to discover” mentality to quickly deliver functional products
-Managing resources to targets (personnel/budgets)
-Promoting cross-functional collaboration that ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $201,600.00 and $302,000.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/22 through 12/31/22, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role (Requirements):

•Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required.
•Advanced degree preferred ideally in technology related field.
•5 years working experience in technology/digital/data preferred
•5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or related industry (e.g. healthcare industry consulting) preferred
•Prior consulting or related experience preferred
•Product design and development, product management
•Data strategy definition and infrastructure development
•Expert in utilizing agile methodologies
•Strong familiarity with the external digital health landscape
•Process focused mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
