YOUR ROLE

oServe as the PMO for R&D activities related to the deployment and implementation of NA products manufactured in LATAM by coordinating all technical workstream with cross functional teams to ensure flawless project execution and communication across borders.

oThe incumbent must possess a strong understanding of R&D processes and protocols to meet timeline milestones for implementation of projects.

oThe scope includes guiding formula and package localization, process development, raw material localization, and process trials; proactively identifying technical risks and recommendations to mitigate risks and enable project success.

oResponsible for pilot production site in Mexico for haircare and hair color products and responsible for managing daily operations in coordination with NA and Mexican development teams.

oResponsibilities include: Planning and coordinating activities of all projects for haircare, styling and hair color, including formula, chemicals and packaging localization, local PLM activities and processing teams to facilitate smooth transfer of technical information from NA to LATAM for production.

oCommunicating status updates of all projects, successes and issues, with frequent formal and informal updates and via detailed monthly presentations for each project

oPlanning each project's technical requirements with the related teams and provide detailed timelines of deliverables and maintain technical project tracking.

oProviding project co-ordination and project direction as needed.

oProviding Supply Chain project lead with update on technical progress weekly.

oCommunicate to the technical teams in NA on weekly basis.

oPrepare and deliver monthly status updates to Executive team.

oManaging the R&D team in Mexico responsible for technology transfer for NA formulations for manufacturing in Mexico.

oResponsible for the pilot production site in Mexico and manage the scale-up activities with the process engineers on site and in NA.

oEnsure transfer of scale-up knowledge to the production team.

YOUR SKILLS

•The incumbent in this position will be located in Mexico and is required to have a fundamental understanding of the processes of the teams and sites and must possess strong project management and communication skills.

•BS or MS in Chemical engineering, Chemistry or related area.

•Project Management certification or experience is required.

•Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

•8 -10 years experience in R&D and Project Management within a related industry
