The Department of Anatomy at the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., is seeking applicants for 2-3 full-time tenure-track position from the Assistant to Full Professor level to start in the summer/fall of 2023. Applicants must have a Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, and a record of teaching competency in the anatomical and/or biomedical sciences. The successful candidate will contribute their expertise to neuroscience, developmental biology, genomic, or other innovative molecular and cell biology research. Potential areas of interest include (but are not limited to) human iPSC and transplantation studies and high throughput genomic/epigenetic/RNA sequencing approaches. Highest priority will be given to candidates with a strong history of scholarly activity with either an established research program or the potential to develop an externally funded research program. The College of Medicine is currently expanding its basic science faculty and offers a competitive start-up package. There are abundant opportunities for collaborations within the College of Medicine and with nearby institutions across the greater Washington, D.C. area (e.g., NIH, FDA, USDA).
