Description
Biomedical researcher with an active research program in Urologic Cancers with excellence in basic laboratory research and a high-quality publication record in urology research.

The selected candidate will be expected to collaboratively work toward building research excellence. This includes fostering growth and enhancing the external peer-reviewed cancer research in the Cancer Center. Applicants themselves must be an accomplished scientist in cancer research and have a demonstrated track record in extramurally funded cancer research as well as a record of mentorship. The successful candidate should hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PhD, MD, MD/Phd or equivalent degree.
  • Independent cancer research and current HIH cancer focused funded grant award(s).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstration of academic capital through research experience that has resulted in published findings.
  • Prior history of obtaining federal support for urologic cancer research for established investigators.
  • A record of teaching, mentorship across cancer center training continuum.
