KEY FUNCTIONS

Data Analysis

• Establish and optimize bioinformatic pipelines analyzing biomedical data including but not limited to next generation sequencing (NGS), single-cell sequencing (SCS), and microarray data.
• Perform downstream analysis using various clustering, dimensional-reduction, and statistical methods.
• Generate figures and exhibits for data visualization.

Data Storage Management

• Manage data server, keep and archive records in secure format.
• Assist in data transfer with collaborators and data deposition to public domain.

Project Collaboration

• Collaborate with other members of the lab (post-docs and students) to assist various computational analysis needs.
• Meeting with collaborators and discuss projects and present data.

EDUCATION

Required:Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years experience in scientific software development/analysis. With Master's degree, one years experience required. With PhD, no experience required.
