Postdoctoral or Research Scientist position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Mikhail Nikiforov, Duke University, Departments of Pathology and Biomedical Engineering, to study mechanisms of skin development, homeostasis, and skin cancer initiation and progression. We utilize cutting edge methodologies that integrate intracellular imaging, organoid technology, and animal modeling. Our lab has a strong record of postdoctoral fellows advancing their carriers to the Assistant Professor positions. Representative publications include Bianchi-Smiraglia et al Nature Methods; Bianchi-Smiraglia et al Nature Communications; Wolff et al Cell Chemical Biology; Bagati et al Cell Reports; Bagati et al Cell Death Differ. The successful candidate should hold a PhD or MD degree in a relevant field and possess extensive hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques, work with mice, and biostatistics tools.
