Multiple NIH-funded positions are available for highly-motivated postdoctoral fellows in the Vascular Biology Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate.  Candidates should possess or anticipate a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, neuroscience, or a related discipline.  Candidates should have excellent written and oral English skills and a demonstrated ability to plan and complete projects with substantial independence.  Candidates will design, organize, and execute experiments, as well as, analyze, interpret, record and present their data within the group and department.  Candidates will receive direction from the PI and may supervise technical support personnel.  Efficient use of time, reagents, and financial and other resources is expected.  Successful candidates will also participate in the drafting of scientific publications and funding proposals.  They must also be able to work and think independently.  The selected individuals will have many opportunities for growth and development as a scientist and to publish high quality work and present at relevant scientific conferences.  Successful candidates will be exposed to many aspects of the drug discovery and development process in a program with a long history of successful translational research.  Currently funded projects aim to

  1. Identify and understand the signaling pathway of a bioactive lipid in the context of endometriosis and to identify novel targets for endometriosis therapy, and
